Sin

Sin is anything that contravenes the will of God and runs contrary to God’s nature. The divine will, as recognised in the Holy Scriptures and expressed through the timely revelations of the Holy Spirit, is the exclusive deciding factor in assessing whether or not something is sinful.

Human beings, who have been equipped by God with a free will, can and must decide for themselves what they do or neglect to do. Accordingly, they are accountable to God and themselves. Thus human beings have personal responsibility for their actions. By no means can human beings define sin on their own.
