“They are here!”

(20.05.2010) Cape Town. Wednesday 19 May 2010: The first of the larger groups of apostles have arrived yesterday with some 25 apostles from the African countries of Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Ivory Coast and Benin. Thereafter smaller groups of 5 and 7 apostles put in an appearance, these men coming from as diverse origins as the Philippines and Australia to Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand. Interspersed between the arriving apostles were also some personnel from New Apostolic Church’s International office and Verlag Friedrich Bischoff coming to cover the event. more ...

The well-structured site contains a great deal of information about our Church. For visitors from outside the country, the information is also offered in the English language. Pentecost 2010: Some 1.2 million believers will participate live

(10.05.2010) Zurich/Cape Town. Tafelsig is the largest church building of the New Apostolic Church anywhere in the world. The congregation is located in a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa. It is there that the central Pentecost service conducted by Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber will take place this year. The divine service will be transmitted to 100 countries on all continents. A prayer at the grave of the English Apostles

During the afternoon of their first session at the European District Apostle Meeting, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber and the European District Apostles made an excursion to Albury. This small town in the county of Surrey, some 50 kilometres outside of London, was the hub of the Catholic Apostolic movement at the start of the nineteenth century. (06.05.2010) Zurich/London. From Wednesday to Friday, the European District Apostles will be in London for their annual spring meeting. Their gathering began with a divine service in the congregation of Camberley, where some 120 members and guests were happy to welcome the Chief Apostle and the District Apostles into their circle. Membership figures of the global Church as at the end of 2009

(03.05.2010) Zurich. Some 10.5 million people around the world profess the New Apostolic faith. This is approximately 400,000 members, or 3.7 percent, less than the previous year. The reason: in some countries (predominantly in Africa) too few deaths were accounted for over the years. This was determined by means of detailed analyses based on the official death rates in the affected countries. more ...

(03.05.2010) Zurich. »nacworld«, the social networking website of the New Apostolic Church will become available for all age groups on 20 May 2010. An optimized design and additional features will also be introduced. With the removal of age restrictions, the service becomes usable for children, young adults, middle-aged adults, and seniors from all over the world. more ...

Church blessing on ruby wedding anniversaries

(20.04.2010) Zurich. Married couples who have been married for 40 years can now, at their express request, receive a Church blessing on their ruby wedding anniversary. This was resolved by the District Apostle Meeting during its spring session in Dortmund this March. The new resolution is valid around the world. more ...

No divine services on New Year’s Day

(20.04.2010) Zurich. Following some discussion in the most recent District Apostle Meeting in Dortmund, the international Church leadership has decided that there will be no divine services anywhere around the world on New Year’s Day 2011.
